The 7th Annual Run for the Roses Festival is an annual music and arts festival that takes place in the heart of Omaha. There are two stages, one indoor, one outdoor. It features a lineup of local top-notch musicians from different genres from funk & blues to bluegrass to tribute bands there is something for everybody! We also incorporate an array of vendors, workshops & more!
The 7th Annual Run for the Roses Festival is usually held the first weekend of May. The exact dates for this year's festival are Thursday May 8th, Friday May 9th, & Saturday May 10th.
The 7th Annual Run for the Roses Festival is held at the Brokedown Palace, Omaha’s Grateful Dead-inspired bar and live music venue. The Brokedown Palace is right on the outskirts of Benson, on 88th and Maple in Omaha, NE. It's easily accessible by public transport and car.

Both! We’ll have music on two stages — one indoor and one outdoor — with full-scale professional production. An outdoor main stage that is in the Brokedown Palace parking lot as well as inside the establishment with a more intimate stage.

Yes! For the outdoor stage, you’re welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets to relax and enjoy the music.

If not sold out, yes. But we highly recommend grabbing your tickets in advance — this event fills up fast!
No outside food or drink, weapons, or illegal substances. Security checks will be in place.
We love animals, but for safety reasons, no pets are allowed (service animals only).
1. Please go to our navigation bar at the top of this website and click on the page titled "Artist/Vendor Submissions"
2. In the first section you'll see artists and second you'll see vendors. Click the button for artist entry if you are a musician looking to perform OR click the vendor entry button if you are a vendor looking to sell a service or product.
3. After clicking the button it will take you to a google form to fill out that shouldn't take longer than 5-10 minutes.
